Mississippi State’s Supply Chain Management program focuses on data analytic and data management skills. In this program, you get to learn how a product makes its way to the consumer in the most time and cost-effective way possible. Supply Chain Management covers every perspective of a product’s lifecycle. Faculty and staff strive to prepare students to understand every aspect of that lifecycle and how to move products through this process. If you wish to have a career such as a supply chain analyst, transportation planner, or even a purchasing manager, MSU’s Supply Chain Management program is right for you.

Supply Chain Management is a really interesting concentration you get to learn about how the product or service starts at the very beginning, and how to get it to the customer in the most time and cost efficient way possible. Businesses are always looking for people like this. The supply chain management program has almost 100% placement.

Here at Mississippi State the supply chain program, focuses on data analytical and data management skills. And so whether that's building it to different career workshops or working with different employees who come in on campus, we really focus on their here Mississippi State. I think this program has been a good fit for me because I value the products that we have and use in our everyday lives. And so I would love to get to know more about what process the products go through, to get to the consumer. And so I'm very in tune with Supply Chain Management because it covers every perspective of that product lifecycle.
