Being a successful entrepreneur, you have to be able to know a little bit about everything, be able to understand each component of the business and how it works. And the nice thing about the business administration degree is that it helps you understand all the facets.
The business administration program is the most flexible degree in the College of Business. I can pick my areas of concentration of where I feel my strengths are, or maybe where my strengths are not, and help grow those strengths or weaknesses. It's also fully offered online.
The Entrepreneurship minor gives its students studying whatever major they have on campus a chance to expand it with entrepreneurial skills.
The Entrepreneurship minor is offered through the College of Business. The best thing about it is that it can be added onto any major. It does not matter.
It gives you a complete picture of the core areas of business that somebody studying another craft would need to know to be able to launch a successful venture.
I've had plenty of opportunities here on campus that have helped me prepare for the business world. On campus, they offer you mock interviews, resume reviews to help make sure that your resume is appropriate for what you're applying for, what you're trying to do, as well as the career fair we have on campus where you get to meet with several different businesses and get internships and jobs for the future.
It's a great degree that gives you the framework on how to make those decisions better.
