A really tremendous asset that we have here at Mississippi State is the University Career Center. And we actually have an employee over there who's dedicated solely to the College of Business and the School of Accountancy. What that means for us is that we get a lot of programming that's specific to business and accounting that students can take advantage of to start building their resumes early, attending networking events, business etiquette dinners, learning how to interact with professionals in their field, and also learning about the field itself. There's so many opportunities like that, and it's right at your fingertips.

I've used the Career Center when it's come time when I had an interview to schedule a mock interview, because you can go in there and they'll basically just conduct a full on interview with you and kind of give you some feedback on it to help you be as professional as possible when it comes time to your real interview.

So from early on, I was going to your career fairs and from sophomore year, I was building relationships with employers and then by junior year, I had an offer for a internship in the spring. And after my internship in the spring, I had a full time offer after graduation. So something that spectacular about Mississippi State is that they set you up for success early on so that you can focus on your education and then feel confident that you're going to be successful in your professional career.
